Play Testing and Game Scheduling
Play Testing and Game Scheduling
This thread exists for the purpose of discussing and scheduling play test of BFRPG adventures, supplements, and possibly other things.
Here's a list of some adventures that currently need to be play tested:
Strongholds of Sorcery
The Saga of the Giants series (I don't think this one needs to be tested as soon as the others)
In priority, it seems the Strongholds of Sorcery adventures are the most important.
The current play testing takes place on Roll20 in the BFRPG group.
Current Play Testers:
Hywaywolf
Jered Taiken
Tree Ant
Blaze Guard
Metroknight
rredmond
The current BFRPG Roll20 group meets on Friday Nights from 5-11 p.m. USA Central Time to discuss setting up games, and just chat in general. Tree Ant has put together a description of the BFRPG group:
"This group is set up for the BFRPG community to discuss the game, recruit players for games, playtest supplements and adventures, or anything else related to BFRPG.
The "Next game will be" time refers to Friday Night Dice: The once a week chat session where people can get games together.
What this group is for: Drop-in games, planned one-shots, playtesting official BFRPG material, trying out homebrew material, chatting with fellow BFRPG fans, or other activities involving short-term games.

So how does the list look? I know it's not complete, but it's a start.

Re: Play Testing
Looks good to me. Hmm...
Might try to convince some friends to play a few of them and give me their takes

Elves take to nature like Orcs take to ugly.
So let me get this straight: You murdered a dragon with a fortress?

Re: Play Testing
Slaver's Fortress is pretty well nailed down; I'd remove it from your list.
Be sure you're playtesting the version(s) included in the full-on AA1 multimodule, as they have already been changed from the stand-alone versions previously released.

Re: Play Testing
I'll remove the slaver fortress. What versions are the adventures in the anthology?
Also, should I remove Gold in the Hills? I've heard that it's been pretty well play tested.

Re: Play Testing
I'd drop Gold in the Hills. As to what version: I drop the individual version numbers when I merge a multimodule out of parts.
In other words, whatever version of stand-alone AA1.x you have, it's out of date compared to any version of the full AA1 multimodule.

Re: Play Testing
I think I may have just found direction for my spot in GM rotation.

Re: Play Testing
Does the SG series need to be play tested? I noticed that Cloud Giant Castle doesn't have a banner on it, but the rest do.
