Werewolf Lord

Post by bhyeti »

I'm running the Chaotic Caves on rpggeek.com in a play by post campaign. In order to throw the players a curve ball. I had the caravan they where traveling in attacked by a werewolf who is also a bandit leader. He is sentient in werewolf form and can control a pack of wolves to do his bidding. he uses the wolf-pack to soften up defenses before his bandits attack.

I thought this was unique until I found this;

Amazingly enough the players picked him off with silver arrows and magic missiles, then did him in with a silver coin.

How'd they use a silver coin as a weapon?

They used a sling, I was sort of skeptical but I googled and found where other players had done it. I asked about it in the rpggeek gamemaster forum and they said it had been done before so I gave it to them, The werewolf was already down to 2 hit points and the damage put him in the negative.

It was a "Hail Mary" effort and I was impressed by their ingenuity.
