The Lounge
Re: The Lounge
I'm not a model rocket enthusiast. The Bright Moment is the only one the looks different.

Ahhh...if I only had a brain. Sigh.
My rendition of the refrain of AC/DC's song Dirty Deeds:
Dunder heads and they're born dirt cheap!
Dunder heads and they're born dirt cheap!
(above only applies to me - the world's absolute worst puzzle solver)

Re: The Lounge
The Tauran and Martian ships have a similar shape whilst the Bright Moment and the Icarus have a similar shape...at least to my eye. So wait...are you saying that Humans and the people who made the Bright Moment are related somehow and the Taurans and Martians are related?

Re: The Lounge
Not saying anything of the sort.
Similar functional requirements will result in similar machines. The Tauran ship does not appear to be runway-compatible, for instance, while the Martian ships and the Bright Moment are, as are human-built ships. The Martian ships are conical (approximately) while the human-built ships and the Bright Moment are generally cylindrical. Bright Moment, however, is built for creatures with different visual and auditory capabilities, and there is quite a bit of evidence to support the idea that their world has higher gravity than Earth.

Re: The Lounge
I gave you all time to connect the unknown designations to the star map; then I made a roll against her scientific knowledge. That's kind of my standard for handling in-game puzzles, actually.
... now the question is, what will Driscoll do?
