Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
(OOC: That's hardly 'minor'; Timorel only has 5 HP total, so he's more than halfway to death's living room.)
Timorel reeled from the statue's strike, blood splattering the floor in front of him. "I'm wounded!" He calls out. "Falling back!"
Timorel will take up a defensive posture and then back away to the opposite side of the doorway from the bloody door. (OOC: Slight edit there. I first posted that Timorel retreated and then took up a defensive posture, but this makes more sense.)

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
"We should retreat!" shouts Shybolt and then moves into fighting defensively and readies himself to back toward the blood covered door. "I'll go last and try to hold them off long enough for you guys get through the door."
Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Grumm retreats, fighting defensively.
Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
"We may not have to retreat through the door, they may stop attacking if we stop trying to pass them!" Brother Arven gasps between breaths. He continues none the less to make a defensive retreat towards the open door behind them.

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
The statues struck at Timorel and Grumm, but neither one was hit; as soon as all the adventurers had backed away, the statues assumed ready positions and froze.

Timorel puts pressure on his wound with one hand and assesses the group. He notes Brother Arven's wound. Is Shybolt still bleeding from eyes, ears, and nose?

Yes, blood continues to trickle slowly from Shybolt's orifices.

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Shybolt takes this moment of inactivity to try to wipe the blood from his hands using a torn rag from the dead dead orcs and some of the water from his bag.
Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Brother Arven says "I have one healing prayer left, who is hurt the worst? I can go on, and Shybolt, while bleeding is not likely to die anytime soon, Timorel seems to be the worst off unless anyone disagrees I will heal him."

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Does Shybolt feel any weaker from the loss of blood from the bleeding? Did his hands seem to have any less blood on them before he attempted to wipe them clean? (perhaps the blood leaking from his face is the blood he has on his hands.)
