Re: Borgar's Maps

I did a very slight update of the XCF files (updated in the project folder). It's probably barely visible but I made the numbers slightly "stronger" (a few pixels), especially the slimmest parts. I expect the number may be both better and worse in print or in browser caused by both by my d...

Re: Borgar's Maps

Great maps as always 8-) I personally find the numbering hard to read, but that's just me No, I don't think it's just you. I'll see if I can improve this a bit. This "font" is an attempt to get something that isn't just avariant of my regular writing :D but I may have made one that isn't ...

Re: Borgar's Maps

It's been a while since I did anything now for various reason, but have managed to get myself started again. For "reasons" I just picked the Old Island Fortress maps from Morgansfort. XCF files in the project folder. olde_island_level_1.png olde_island_level_2.png Due to my mixed handdrawi...

Re: Cleric Deities? Do we make them up?

(Sure, the Norse have their own peculiarities, but they are generally not serial rapists and murderers.) Yes, they do have theire own peculiarities for sure. Loki is father to some facinating personalities, Jörmungandr (The Midgard serpent), Fenrir and Hel. In addition he is the MOTHER of Slepinir ...

Re: Grimfall Quests

Turns out drawing a larger area of marsh/swamp is tricky. Anyone has good (and simple) suggestion for doing this that would work with a dungeon drawing?

Re: Grimfall Quests

I was thinking I could contribute by some nicer maps. I assume Morsombrex lair is a natural cave and doesn't have to be as uniform as the original. More like this?

Re: The Lost Pyramid

Since I usually make the XCF files b/w indexed I usually do the following

1. Change to greyscale mode (Image->Mode = greyscale)
2. Image->Flatten
3. Scale to desired resolution for screen or whatever
4. Export

to get the best result. But that is usually for attachments to this forum.

Re: Borgar's Maps

After the large maps from The Lost Pyramid and Endless Tunnels of Enlandin I want to do something else (and smaller). And after just redrawing existing maps I think i should make a few original ones. I'll start with a few small dungeon maps suitable for a few really short adventures or as just a sin...
