Re: Which Adventure to Start With?

I've not actually run either, but after a read-through of both, I think I'd go with Morgansfort over Chaotic Caves. I like the home base better.

Re: CS2 The Pit

I personally am starting to both like and depend on track changes. It's easier, at least for me, than trying to sift through a bunch of text on a forum post, if it's a lot of changes. A few of us have earned enough trust to work on things as-is, but ultimately I think track changes is the best way ...

Re: CS2 The Pit

Okay, new rule: If you are going to make a pass through a document and correct punctuation and spacing, please DO NOT turn on track changes! I thought there were a few instances of the treasure being disproportionate, but I didn't call them out as such. That struck me as an editorial decision that went well beyond my goal of clearing up the language. :)

Re: The Glain Companion

Very nice; I like your chosen means of handling spell-casting, as well as the options you've chosen for defending, unarmored combat, and two-weapon combat. I have one question. One page 13, under the heading Using Magic , the following text appears: "If the spellcaster is reduced to zero hit points ...

Re: CS2 The Pit

Ok, I finished an editing pass, mainly looking for things like excessive use of the passive voice, subject confusion, etc. I tried to preserve editorial content wherever possible. Let me know if my edits went too far, not far enough, etc., or even if this sort of review is useful.

Re: Digest-sized books?

What, specifically, can I do to help? I've done some technical writing in the past, and I've considered jumping in, but I'm not sure exactly how/where to get started. Hmm, well there are many different areas that are possible to jump in and help: content creation, layout, editing and proofing, and ...
