Re: BF3 Strongholds of Sorcery

Those shapes are my attempt to capture the geometry of the first floor of the tower. They are off the page and won't appear when you export to an image format. I kept them around to keep the sizes of things consistent from level to level. They are on their own layer of the document which can be hidd...

House of Coldarius -- Maps

The attached zip file contains SVG files for each of the levels in this adventure (from the BF3 "Strongholds of Sorcery" book). I created them to run this module online, and figured I'd share them with the community. The maps are fairly faithful to the originals, although probably not 100% perfect i...

Re: Maps for the Published Modules

If you could share the map files for House of Coldarius that would be great. It sounds like MapMatic can't generate files without grid lines. Even so, the sources would make removing the keys easier. Any chance that MapMatic could be modified to make the grid optional? If the source is available, I'...

Maps for the Published Modules

It looks like many (most?) of the maps in the published modules were generated with MapMatic. Are the MapMatic sources for these files available? Asking because I find myself gaming mostly online these days (via Roll20 or other VTTs) and find it is very time consuming to prepare maps for screen use....

Re: CS2 The Dark Temple

Here is Charmise on page 38. I hope this works for that NPC. Let me know what you think or if I need to change something.Charmise_by_MWByouk.png Fantastic! If I had to make a suggestion, perhaps the handle of a dagger concealed in her boot? But not a big deal in any case -- thanks for the amazing d...

Re: Higher level campaigns

At higher levels I try to encourage the players to think beyond doing things directly and to start working on larger projects through their henchmen, whom they play as secondary characters. The higher level PCs support the lower level ones by providing things like magical research and a stronghold/s...

Re: [AA3] The Ruined Sawmill

I updated the doc on the first post to r6, which includes HP check boxes for wandering monsters that didn't have them, and clarifies the origin area of the ghouls.

Re: [AA3] The Ruined Sawmill

Thanks once again for the excellent editing. Regarding #2, yes all of the ghouls come from area 11. As far as the HP boxes on the random encounter tables go, what is the correct format for a variable number of creatures? Should I randomly generate the maximal number HP lines (e.g. 8 lines for 2d4 cr...

Re: The Ruined Sawmill

Here's a new r4, which is basically style guide and formatting changes:

* Renumbers areas to run sequentially from 1-25
* Updates maps to reference new area numbers
* Converts images in document to grayscale from color

All maps are attached with their SVG Inkscape sources and png exports as well.
