Re: The Dark Temple CONTEST ENTRY THREAD

I had a go at modelling the middle level in SketchUp. It is difficult to get a good perspective that doesn't hide more than it reveals but it still might be helpful to some of you.

Edit: in case it isn't clear, Rooms 17 and 18 are in the foreground.

Re: Shorter spell descriptions for spell cards

I've fixed some typos and inconsistencies in wording on the cards. Cleric spells are up next.

Shorter spell descriptions for spell cards

I started thinking about creating some nice looking spell cards. I want these to be suitable for professional printing (at places like DriveThrough or GameCrafter). Of course, they should also be useful in play and that means they need to contain as much pertinent information as possible. Some of th...

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition

While looking through the spells, I noticed that the description of the Geas and Quest spells mention that their effect can be removed by a wish, similar mentions of wishes are made in some monster descriptions (Green Slime and Ghost). The word "wish" is bold, making it look like a spell name althou...

The first step would be to create a text file with spell details, including suitably edited description. Then I cou...

Re: Beginner's Essentials

I've been looking through the Beginner's Essentials in preparation for a game with new players and was thinking that the Equipment Packs from Equipment Emporium would be a useful addition to help speed up char gen. I also noticed that the section on Holy Water vs. Undead mentions 1d6 of fire damage,...

Re: Spell cards

Hey! You actually motivated me to consider I had a way to quickly make a set of spell cards. They are nowhere near as fancy as what you're describing, but they are a complete set out of the rulebook at this point. They're a bit up-thread in the workshop if you'd like to look! I like the look of tho...

It might be helpful to put a link to the MeWe group next to the other social media links on the home page.
