Re: Mysterious Island Contest
Here's my entry. I've been wanting to do a mini-setting with placed encounters for each hex, so that's what I did for the island. I love it! I was hoping someone would do an Island of Doctor Moreau, it feels like the right kind of island for D&D. I'm glad you like it. :) It's probably more Anim...

Re: Why is bullette pronounced like that?
Huh, I never heard of it being pronounced like that before. It looks like it was a mistake introduced in 2e. The 2e version also messed up the ingredients you need to create a bulette. In 2e they said snapping turtle + armadillo, but in 1e you have the missing ingredient: demons' ichor. How silly, e...

Re: Something I'm thinking about...
A medusa as something other than a simple monster to be fought/killed could go in a lot of interesting directions.

Re: Mysterious Island Contest
Honestly? AI is a way to avoid learning how to do the thing, whatever the thing happens to be. You talk about people who don't have a lot of experience writing adventures; but we provide a place here where people can learn that skill by doing it, and by watching others do it. You can get more out o...

Re: It happened: OGL 1.0a remains untouched!
From the get-go I liked the schnauzer kobolds because it was a completely new approach to an iconic monster. And angry little dogs are very relatable.
I even tweaked the logo, but Gabe said this wouldn't work since this kobold has no pants, violating our decency clause.
