Re: That One Stupid Halfling! - a solitaire adventure, lv. 3-4
Nice! Just downloaded and printed it out. I'll try to play through it in the near future, and let you know what I think.

Re: Field Guide Omnibus
FWIW, I really like how the bestiary in OSRIC is organized. Instead of a long, alphabetical list, it’s broken up by broad categories, and then alphabetized within the category. EG: Demi-humans, Humanoids, Giants, Dragons, Undead, etc. I feel like it makes it a little easier to go hunting for monster...

Re: Mashing IF75 and DP&D together?
Indeed, yes! I first watched Robin of Sherwood back around 1988 on a friend's second-generation VHS tapes. I instantly fell in love with the setting, the stories, and the interpretation of the characters. I've owned the series on different media since then (Blu-Ray, most currently) and introduced my...

Re: Mashing IF75 and DP&D together?
That sounds like a blast. I've recently discovered DP&D and it looks really fun. Mashing it up with IF'75 seems like it would work really well.

Re: Additional classes in print?
Many people take the odt files and make themselves their own compilation then print them out. I heard some tried out pod services to print out a book and others just print out on their home printers then hole punch and put them into a binder. That's what I did for my last group. Took all the variou...

Re: Galactic Encounters Role-Playing Game
I just sort of stumbled across this, as I was thinking earlier "Hey, using BFRPG as the chassis for different genres like Sci-Fi, Science Fantasy, etc. would be pretty cool. Wonder if anyone's done anything like that?" So just figured I'd chime in and say everything I read in this thread, ...

Re: Barkling race?
Aha! I got confuddled and inferred the kobolds had been replaced by Barklings. But just checked my 4th edition book and see that they're both included. Sorry for the confusion.

Re: Barkling race?
Out of curiosity, why did the Kobolds need to get renamed? The name is out of German folklore, though I suppose the specific "look" of them as we know it is very D&D.

Re: Battle mats
I've had a Chessex Mega-Mat since the late 80s, and it still works great. Does have a few weird stains on it from pen-marks left too long, but it doesn't bother me. I kind of like the reminder of past exploits! I've also got a couple sets of Role4Initiative's "Dungeon Tiles", which I like ...
