Practical Character Sheet by Jose Kercado

Here's a link to the character sheet I designed a couple of months ago. I've been using this in my game and I gotta say that it works quite nicely. Let me know if I'm posting this in the right place... EDIT by Solomoriah: This is now an "official" character sheet, and can be found on the Downloads p...

Re: Roll20 Orr Report for Basic Fantasy RPG

I play in a 5E game DM'ed by a friend. It's definitely a cool system, but it can definitely get bogged down sometimes. When characters have too many special skills (we're level 4), and you also have actions, and bonus actions, and movement, and etc., well... It kills a bit of the quickness of the sy...

This is a great idea!! I'm gonna copy this.

New character sheet design

Guys,

I created today a new character sheet for BFRPG. I've enclosed the link to it and also attached it to this message. Please let me know any feedback and also how to add it to the official download list.

Thanks!

Being a very special weapon, I'd make it so that it's not easily reusable, basically limit it to one use per encounter because of its complexity. The Fireball spell of weapons.

Fully automatic crossbow for BFRPG?! Yep! Maybe?

So I recently found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbKGjRoSofA in which the Slingshot Channel dude builds a fully-automatic crossbow, and that got me thinking... How could it work on a BFRPG setting? After giving it some thought, this is my initial "sketch" for it. Feel free to comment ...

Re: BFRPG does it again

Oh, heck yes. This game is so damn easy to administer. When we ended our latest adventure, right there on the spot I calculated XP and leveled up four characters in about half an hour.

I love Basic Fantasy!

Re: How do you level multi-class characters?

THAT'S FANTASTIC!! Thanks for these tables. I really like the approach on the second one. A nicely stepped progression for multi-classing. It's interesting; following the first table makes more logical sense to me (for example, leveling up to 4 as a fighter when reaching 8,000, and then with only 2,...

Re: How do you level multi-class characters?

Yeah, I always expect the multi-class character to have an XP "penalty" in the sense that he/she will need more experience to level up. I just want a way to make it more gradual. If you think about it, it makes sense even from a real-life perspective. You get better faster at some skills than others...
