I don't see those kind of numbers in the BFRPG Core Rules, I see 6d10 for goblins, 5d8 for gnomes(and similar numbers for other humanoids), and that is in their lairs or in the wild. not as a random encounter. Random encounters are the first listing 2d4, 1d8, etc.

Actually they never rescued the princess, they brought back a doppleganger who kills the queen and makes it look like the PCs were in on the plot.Dreamakuma wrote:When it happens you can always pull a heel turn. Have the Princess kill the Queen and go all evil-er overlord.

I had thought of using ability rolls as well (I'm not a fan of % systems). My thought was to give thieves a flat +4 bonus(plus racial and ability modifiers converted from the thieves supplement) when using an ability. Even with modifiers a natural 1 is always a failure. This gives them a much needed...
