Re: Requests to Change the Rules

I wouldn't even consider asking someone to change the game they wrote for themselves, and then shared (for free) to suit my tastes, especially when those rules are in their third printing. That's what houserules are for (and leaving ep and pp out of your game is pretty simple).

Re: Saving Throw Options

I like it, I know its not "old school" but I prefer the 3 save categories, over the old 5 categories.

Re: Lets talk of dragons

I don't see a problem adding magic resistance to dragons in BFRPG (the XP should be adjusted however). I don't like the added damage if the spell penetrates the magic resistance, it doesn't really make sense, but that is just my take on it.

Re: Lulu Black Friday Code DTWQ1

I couldn't get the code to work, while trying to buy the latest BFRPG books, I'm guessing that it only applies if you are the author of the books.

Save 40% on your own print books with code DTWQ1 through November 30th.

Re: Campaign Setting: Pan Prime

I like the twist on the core races, enough to give Pan Prime some flavor without going overboard. Looking forward to seeing more of Pan Prime.

I agree, after a while it just became pretty much the same old same old.

Re: Forgotten Realms Novels Recommendations?

One of the earlier ones (trilogy) that I enjoyed had a heavy druid vibe. "Darkwalker on Moonshae" I think is the title of one of them. Then again, it has been years since reading... sometimes I go back to things and think "uuugggh, what was I thinking?" +1 Although I would stop after the first book...
