Re: Borgar's Maps

After the large maps from The Lost Pyramid and Endless Tunnels of Enlandin I want to do something else (and smaller). And after just redrawing existing maps I think i should make a few original ones. I'll start with a few small dungeon maps suitable for a few really short adventures or as just a sin...

Re: The Lost Pyramid

Finished with the rest of the levels as far as they can be completed before the rooms are done. I've uploaded the XCF files to the project folder so that it would be possibly for someone else to complete these (in case I won't be available or have time).

Re: The Lost Pyramid

I've completed the maps for the first two levels. I have however not rotated the room numbers. I can do that if that is preverable. I'll keep the style from the first map (full cross-hatcing but in a gray tone) to make the maps consistent. BTW, since not all rooms are complete I assume there will be...

Re: The Lost Pyramid

I had a early scan of just the outline so I have added that as an extra black layer while changing the opacity of the original to 65% (i.e. easily adjustable) Note that the two scans don't line of perfectly so I will probably have to work on this a bit more to make it a bitter cleaner. Does this loo...

Re: The Lost Pyramid

Since I had a bit of a struggle with getting the cross hatching on the Enlandin maps consistent I thought I can use some more training. So I did level 1 of The Lost Pyramid without "cheating". I.e I crosshatched everything. I'm not sure I want to do that on anything else that size in the n...

Re: Borgar's Maps

I've uploaded the XCF files to Projects\Maps\Enlandin I've made "everything" layered so these can be "tuned" with minimal effort. I've done some cleanup and added river flow and elevation arrows. Note that in an attempt to avoid labeling elevation arrows I made them all point up ...

Re: Borgar's Maps

This was more work than any previous maps I've done. I'm done with most of the work now though a few things may need tweaking. I'm not sure how to put in the the elevation arrows yet so those are missing. There are a few details that I'm not completely satisfied with so I may tinker a bit more with ...

Re: Borgar's Maps

HOWEVER, since this primarily affects downloaders, if you do want to go ahead and do full maps for Enlandin, I'll put them together in a separate PDF on the Downloads page for those who want to print "lighter" versions of the maps. It's up to you, of course, but if you make them I'll put ...

Re: Borgar's Maps

I saw comments about the ink heavy maps in the Endless Tunnels of Enlandin and was wondering if I should attempt to make new versions of these maps. To be honest I prefer smaller maps than this given the time it takes to "decorate". I still did the hard part of one level just to check it o...
