Re: Movement and spell casting

Syntactically, the first is slightly ambiguous. Placing the initiative phrase after the move and attack makes it unclear if the initiative applies to both move and attack, or only to move.

I know what I meant when I wrote it; the second part makes it more clear, disambiguating the first bit.

Re: Movement and spell casting

Which makes sense to me as well. But if that is the intent, wouldn't it be best to explicitly state it in the rules? (Again, unless it is there and I just missed it.) Or the author thought it WAS clearly and explicitly stated. You are the first to notice that it's not nailed down. Of course, the ot...

Re: TL1 Beneath the Silver Spire

There is one small error and one typo I've found in the Coterie. The error -- which doesn't affect mechanics -- is something I thought I mentioned in thread, but perhaps not. But I'm not in a rush to make a release there. The book is 99.9% perfect, and I just want to enjoy it. Post the error there ...

Re: TL1 Beneath the Silver Spire

Feel free to edit the manuscript directly, Al, and pass it to me when you're done. If the flow breaks, I'll fix it. I need to go over the art once anyway.

Re: TL1 Beneath the Silver Spire

I'll also need a short introductory blurb for the Downloads page. I could try to cut down your intro in the first post but it might be better coming from the author.

Re: TL1 Beneath the Silver Spire

Actually, let me rephrase that last bit... give me a solid R20 and I'll get it on the Downloads page shortly. I'll also break it down and check the DPI situation.

Re: TL1 Beneath the Silver Spire

Question... why do you use point release numbers here? Normally we only use those "behind the scenes" such as when Leon and I are trading Tosasth back and forth; public releases generally have integer numbers. This helps us recognize which are public and which are internal.

If? There is no "if" here.

Re: Beneath the Silver Spire needs Cover Art (with optional interiors)

The border color is painfully close to JD's. I basically picked it out of the sample art; I expect the fully-colored final art will give us a better range of choices.

Re: Beneath the Silver Spire needs Cover Art (with optional interiors)

The format is tradition; we've been doing something like this since the very beginning. I can relate. That's how I felt about the crenellation remaining as a closed rectangle on one side. :D It was inevitable that someone wouldn't like it. Sorry. I'm resistant to changing too much. Understood. It w...
