Re: Healing Option
I like the idea, in general, but rather than the dice pool allow the cleric to lay on hands a number of times per day equal to their level, with each touch healing 1d6 hp. Or instead of a flat 1d6, their touch restores 1 HD (1d8 for fighters, 1d6 for clerics, 1d4 mages and thieves. To give it a bit ...

Re: Misc. Ideas
I like how ACKS handled their fighter, but would do things a little different for BFRPG. I like cleave, but would limit it to only fighters, with 1 cleave at 1st level, and an additional cleave at levels 5,10, 15 and 20. For the damage bonus, I would grant a +1 at level 4, and an additional +1 at le...

Re: Simple weapon mastery for fighters
I like the simple nature of it, there is nothing to pick and choose, at 6th level he gets X, at 9th he gets Y and at 12th he gets Z.

Re: Players Handbook
Nice work, as a GM I like everything in one book, but for players I don't see the need for their books to include GM only info, like monster stats, magic item descriptions and the how to run a game sections.

Re: Tenth Anniversary of Basic Fantasy RPG
Congrats on 10 years. It is quite a testament to the game that after 10 years it is still alive and growing.

Re: Combat Options Supplement
I'm not a fan of the 1E rate of attacks either, also really disliked the 3E method with different bonuses for each attack. For me, simple is better, you either have one attack or two all with the same bonus. I do like the fighting styles presented in ACKS, a small boost and some customization to the...
