Tiny Hit Point Companion - Supplement
I uploaded the Tiny Hit Point Companion (formerly known as the Hit Points as Currency supplement) to the showcase section.
https://www.basicfantasy.org/showcase.cgi?sid=52
Based on a house-rule, and its expansion I published on my Mad-Kyndalanth blog.
https://mad-kyndalanth.blogspot.de/2012 ... oints.html
It is designed to be used as a stand-alone expansion, or together with &Pain, and the Tiny Magic Companion (both of which can be found in the showcase section, as well.)

Tiny Hit Point Companion R3
https://www.basicfantasy.org/showcase.cgi?sid=52
-I corrected a miscalculation in the example for Defend maneuvers.
-I shortened the Bad Hair Day/ I feel Awesome Rule to Bad Hair Day Rule.
-I deleted the optional rule on armor restrictions, since it had nothing to do with hit points.
-Some minor editing of the text.

Re: Tiny Hit Point Companion - Supplement
This is really cool. I like the simple tradeoffs on effects: the defender either accepts the bad thing, or accepts the hp cost of the attempted maneuver as more damage.
The example on hp cost for spells is off: You have a 1st level spell costing 2hp, where by the formula (1 + 2*1) it should be 3.

Go with a smile!

Re: Tiny Hit Point Companion - Supplement
R5 fo the Tiny Hit Point Companion
After some thought, and testing I simplified the standard formula for hit point magic, and edited the rules for 0-level spells.
hit point cost is now spell level times 2. A 1st-level spell for 2 hp just felt right. 0-level spells are at 0 hp cost, now; however the GM may decide to use temporary hit point loss in some cases.
These changes are made to the Tiny Magic Companion, as well - obviously.
Enjoy the game!

Re: Tiny Hit Point Companion - Supplement
Just uploaded R6 of the Tiny Hit Point Companion.
Some minor editing of the text, caught a few typos, changed armour to armor, as in the core rules.
The note on standard actions, and maneuvers that says they do not cost hit points is moved to page 2 and got its own heading, so people don't miss it. (It was under Creature & Character Hit Points on page 4)
The text for special non-lethal maneuvers was edited, because it made no sense. Once the attack roll was successful hit points can be spent to purchase such maneuvers, so another roll is not required. I added an example, as well.
I removed all e.g.s in front of the examples, because they are italicized, anyway. So, I guess readers will get that.
