That's funny. I had to look and see if the band Dragonhawke existed. There is a Hip Hop band but I don't think this would work for them. It's great that you saw it as an album cover. I didn't see it until you mentioned it and now I wonder if I didn't pull it from my subconscious.
I think Teaman is actually talking about the 1981 Movie Heavy Metal. Check out the movie poster here: https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0082509/me ... 1044266752
It's been a long time since I have seen the movie but I don't recall ever seeing the movie poster. Let me see what I can do to make it more like the movie poster.
Zoltor, I wasn't suggesting that you change a thing. It's perfect. It just had that album cover/movie poster vibe to me.

Don't need to change a pencil stroke.

No worries. I'm not changing it. I want it to be used the way it is (if they feel like it fits the bill). I just wanted to see what it would look like if I made it more like the poster. I wouldn't change any of my art I post here unless I was asked to change it or unless I asked for help in changing it. I draw a lot and sometimes I get so focused on what I'm drawing that I miss seeing the bigger picture. When you said it looked like an album cover, I was shocked that I didn't even see it. It looks like an album cover from the 80's and I had no intention of making it that way. So I just thought I would put the pedal to the metal (pun intended) and rock this thing out (last one, I promise). I don't want you to think I took your comment in a negative way because I saw it exactly the opposite. And besides the 80's had some awesome art.

Great, and we all move onward! (I have oil paint on my hands now anyway. Better get back to it!)

Yeah, the background is a touch dark for reproduction on paper. Very nice though... threatening.

I'm working my way through the flow for a new release, and Geminate Serpents would flow better with something added before them, but after the Fairy entries. Fell Manticore, Fool's Idol, Fyrenewt, or Gellybone are the candidates. I thought we had artwork for the Gellybone, but I guess not. Anyone want to take a crack at one of these? A portrait-layout piece no more than 2x as tall as it is wide would be great.

Actually, no more than height = 1.5 x width would be best; more will be too much.

Ok don't use this. I'm going to change it, especially since you released version 41 and seeing my art in it. I now know what works and what doesn't. Thank you.
