Both of these most recent pieces are great. Love the different styles (one more comic book, the skeleton more gritty).

BFRPG should be thankful for your art tomorrow!

Fantastic! If I had to make a suggestion, perhaps the handle of a dagger concealed in her boot? But not a big deal in any case -- thanks for the amazing drawing.
I can add the handle. No problem. I'm glad you like it.

Thanks Teaman. There is a lot of talent in this community and I'm glad to be a part of it. Having great feedback always helps and seeing the works of others, especially yours, inspires and challenges me to keep producing. I'll keep making it as long as somebody keeps liking it.

I bought a set for real cheap at JoAnn fabric. Was missing one (I think some stole it or it fell out), so I got a set for less than on Pitt pen (which are also really nice).

I even get nice results with a ballpoint, it let's you shade a bit more gently. With fine liners, the line is there or it ain't.

I have spent about a month buying and testing different pens and markers. My mechanical pencils are all Pentel. The pen I used for the Dark Temple and Grimfall drawing was a Pentel RSVP ballpoint pen with standard ink. You're right about being able to shade with them. The pen I'm currently using and the best I have found so far is the Pentel Arts Hybrid Technica. It is a gel ballpoint pen that comes in different sizes. It is designed as a drawing pen and made in Japan. The quality is amazing. The only downside is I have gone through two them, so the ink doesn't last as long. You can find them at Michael's and on Amazon. The one thing I don't like about the standard ink pens is the fact that ink builds up on the tip and you get a glob if you don't clean it regularly. I haven't had that problem with the Hybrid Technica. You can't shade with them so I had to adjust my style a little (still experimenting). You do get a true black color with them, they are actually darker then my markers. The last 5 or 6 drawings was done using the Hybrid Technica.

Love the shop talk! Thanks for the pen recommendation.

Can someone tell me if the NPC character Long John Ahab shoulder chicken is an actual chicken or just what he calls his parrot? I want to draw this character and don't want to get it wrong. It's funny either way.
