5 2 Ratman Vermen:
Are these not just Vermen? I'm going by my hard copy of the Field Guide and they're just called "Vermen".
Hobgoblin Patrols
Each of these patrols should probably be led by a HD3 Warrior.
Personally, I often have those patrol leaders stand back and bark orders until the troops are decimated. Then they get into the action, often trying to get into a duel with the biggest fighter.
In a setting with multiple patrols, I'd reduce the Morale check if previous patrols have been eliminated or if the Hobgoblins don't have numerical superiority.
At any rate, I think it's fun to have some battle orders to follow, either for the whole tribe or for each patrol, depending on the leader.
Patrols of 12 or more qualify for 2 leaders and for being lead by a HD5 chieftain.
That last Patrol of 3 might not be a patrol at all. Maybe they've ran into something big.
Or maybe they are a search party of some sort. Maybe they do nothing but try to flee or raise the alarm or maybe they are still lead by a warrior with a chip on his shoulder...
With so many patrols, this could be a war of attrition.
Big opportunity to be creative here, I think.
Also, a few magical items mixed in there could be a lot of fun.
Such as one of the leaders having a potion of some kind.

Potion of Enlarge Person is not listed in the core rules. Is that a new item or something from a supplement? Maybe needs to be summarized.
2A trap chest
Falling block trap is good, but how does it work? Is there a pressure plate? Can the chest be moved? Does the block fall over the chest or just in front of it? Can a dwarf notice the trap? If not, why not?

4. "Inside the oak cupboard are spoiled foods of cookies, butter, apricots, cakes, plums, and peaches."
I'm not familiar with the "foods of" expression. Some type of cookies don't spoil easily but can get pretty hard. Butter gets rancid. Plums and peaches won't last overly long here and would be moldy.
Would be enlightening to know why those perishables are here in the first place.
Looted goods would probably have been eaten right away.
Plums and peaches would normally have been dried up first and the preparation of "cakes and cookies" would involve large amount of animal fat to extend the shelf life.
5. I'm a big fan of monsters using the magic weapons they have instead of having them locked up in a chest.
Ideally, a function name would be better than just an area number. You can also have both.
Is this a workshop? 12 hobgoblins qualifies for 2 HD3 warriors and 1 HD5 chieftain. Yeah, that would increase the difficulty quite a bit, but it that would better reflect the loot to be found in the lair. Or you could bring it down to fewer hobgoblin and only one warrior.
6a.
Again, there should be more mid-bosses here. A couple of HD3 bodyguards and a HD5 right arm type. These guys are prime candidate to have and use some the magic items present in the lair.
Who is the Messenger? He has a low morale value so he probably flees right?
I see that he's described again in another room, but he's present in this one.
More details on the armor and weapons would be nice.
I don't like to play impro when I use a printed module.

The actual number of pallets and cots would be useful.
How many hobgoblins sleep here?
11.
More info about the potion of delay poison might be needed.

It's good to be vague in the box text but you should always have actual numbers for things in the GM info. How many alcoves?
Where is the choker hiding exactly?
Additional notes.
What if the PC exit the lair but interact with the messenger before exiting?
Would he still return with an escort? If so what for?

Hoping to contribute here with a drawing. These are the other-dimensional frogmen from A Temple of Slides and Stairs. Hoping it can fit on page 50. Feel free to crop and resize as needed and use it where you can.

Chi, I just finished a playtest of your Finley Manor adventure, and I'd like to make an edit pass to apply some changes. When do you think you'll have time to work on R8? I'll do it if you want.

Francisco, great work as always! I will put it into the next release when I work on it.
Solo, I can work on r8 in the near future. I'll wait for Seven's editing pass to complete, and will then incorporate his changes along with myself doing another read/editing pass.

Okay, I'll wait until R8 hits the Projects folder before applying my updates.
