Core Rules Italian Translation
Just realized there's no tracking/commentary thread for the Italian translation effort. Thanks to the several translators who have worked on this since way, way back:

Second Edition Core Rules Italian Translation, Release 4 -- July 20, 2020
Pieralberto Cavallo has supplied this updated Italian translation, and actually a year ago he supplied an earlier ita3 release that I managed not to upload. My bad. This might be considered a print release candidate, though there are a few formatting issues that I'd really like to resolve before we print it.

Re: Core Rules Italian Translation
Since 2011, it seems... thanks, guys. I worked on the layout/flow pass for this -ita4 release for hours today... it's the main reason these things sit so long before I get them done. The main credit should go to Pieralberto Cavallo, who somehow managed to light a fire under me.

Re: Core Rules Italian Translation
Right now the only issue I'm aware of is that the spell lists for magic users don't flow properly; I had to let one table break to make it stay on one page. In the English version, I sometimes rewrite the text on the page to make it shorter, but I'm unsure if that's even possible in Italian since I cannot read the language. We'd have to recover two lines to fix the flow. Otherwise, not sure how I'm going to hammer it out.

A bit more work on this document to hammer out the layout issues has resulted in this document, which is definitly a print release candidate. That's right, we may finally have a non-English translation of the game in print, maybe soon!

Second Edition Core Rules Italian Translation, Release 6 -- July 25, 2020
Pieralberto Cavallo came through with translations for two map examples from the book, and Chris Gonnerman hammered on the layout a bit more, resulting in this new print release candidate for the Italian translation. It's only been in the works for more than a decade, folks...

As far as layout, etc. nothing stood out needing fixed, at least in my eyes.

Re: Core Rules Italian Translation
Well, I did it.
The Core Rules 2E Italian Translation is now available on our Lulu store:
https://www.lulu.com/spotlight/basicfantasy
I've activated it on Amazon as well, but they always take a few hours.

Re: Core Rules Italian Translation
Amazon never activated the book, and they never told me they didn't. No idea what's going on here, but I've resubmitted it for processing.
If you've ordered and received an Italian version of the core rules (from Lulu, obviously...) please share pics!
