To keep this going a bit:Solomoriah wrote: ↑Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:30 amTHIS. I like this. Should be perfect!
If the choking mist in engaged, everyone in a 15' (?) radius has to make a Save vs Poison, or coughing and blind for 2d4 rounds? If you fail the Save then no actions possible.
If you make the Save then no coughing but you are blind for half the above unless you get out of the radius AoE?

Love this collaboration between everyone! It's why this community is so awesome. Haven't had a chance to read everything people have posted, so my apologies if this has been said, but maybe a thread should be started for one page Basic Fantasy one page dungeons?
I'm sort of obsessed with this map

Thematically, the pickled trolls could go in the library.
Strategically, they could fit well in the back of room 8 as the players would find it difficult to flee through either the trap room 7 or the pit in room 8.

Re: [AA4] Ruined Gates of Varos
Maybe it's just me, but the "dragon" in room 5 appears to be painted on the floor. Or is it lying dead? Or something else? This needs to be clarified before I move forward with that room's description.
Here's what I have so far:
Here's what I have so far:
This room is illuminated by the flickering light of a pair of large stone braziers in the northern corners. Though they blaze up fiercely, you feel no heat coming from them. Lining the east and west walls are rickety bookshelves loaded with ancient-looking books and a few other odd items. In particular, the upper shelves of the bookshelf to the northeast are loaded with numerous large jars containing various unidentifiable organs and other body parts, packed in some yellowish liquid.

I originally intended for the dragon to be a painting or marking on the floor. But it's always cool to see how other people imagine it.
This turned out like an exquisite corpse .

I prefer it as a painting, actually.
Though it may be... more... than a painting.

Ah. I didn't see as a painting but I like it.
More possibilities that way.

Maybe we could give this another push with the newer members who have joined recently?
