Reading Designers and Dragons: A History of the Roleplaying Game Industry '70 - '79 by Shannon Applecline Nice history of the RPG companies. I got the first two books '70 -'79 and '80 - '89 for my birthday and the last two books '90 - '99 and '00 - '09 for Christmas. Looked at the '00 - '09 book and didn't see anything mentioned about the Old School Revivals, we'll just have to see if there is any hints of it when I actually read it. (Maybe being held for a future expansion of the series.)

That series is awesome, I just read it a month or so ago, the 90's one has lots of the big players of now, and fills in the gaps on what's actually gone wrong with D&D (the 70's one and the 80's one were freaky to me finding out HOW many of those games I'd played!)
No matter where you go...there you are

Not listening to or watching anything of note, but am reading Discworld: The Colour of Magic. I love the writing style, and how Pratchett used the medium to convey things that wouldn't be possible otherwise, such as having a character interrupt a narration/description, or how another character conveys surprise or confusion via a single punctuation mark.

In terms of shows, I'd recommend watching Merlin (on Netflix in the UK, don't know if it's available in the US or other countries). It's a relatively family-friendly medieval fantasy show, which follows the wizard Merlin from the King Arthur legend, during his early adult years. I can't do the show justice with just a brief description but I'd highly recommend it.
Any pronouns

Absolute dice goblin. Very original, I know.

That which does not kill you is likely to still hurt alot, so best avoid it if possible.
