I've gotta be about name level by now... but magic-users don't get a lot of hit points, and I'm pretty sure I don't have a Constitution bonus (I think I'd know if I did).

The answer is pretty simple... here's my saving throw roll:

Ouch. Was that imprint on the windshield from your head?

Glad you're ok and made your Save!

Left hand. I was turning right, so my left hand was near the top of the steering wheel and my right more to the right; my left hand did that to the windshield and my right punched the radio in about a half inch.

Again, nat 20 on the save...

Get a lawyer and sue. The last time I got hit, I got so angry from dealing with insurance I vowed never to fool with the evil adjuster again. Let the lawyers sort it out.

Actually, both insurance companies are being quite good about it; the only complaint I have is against my business insurance (a third company) and that is really my fault... my coverage isn't good enough, and I should have known that. But the "pain and suffering" payout should cover my business expense, so no real problem.

Hopefully no long term hidden health issues.

It frightens me to think of the number of people are going drive with no care in the world because the "...collision avoidance system will keep them and everyone else safe...." It's not the good drivers one has to look out for...
