BF Campaign Hack

Post by Hexamer47 »

I have posted about this before and got the idea from Shane Wards blog a year or two back for doing a Basic Fantasy campaign hack bringing together several of the modules, using Morgansfort as the home base for all of them. Tonight I created a quick hexographer map for the area I will be using for a small campaign I hope to use in the near future. Thought I would share here in case anyone else wanted to use a rough map of an area taken from the main Westernlands area map.

The scale is 25 miles for the larger atlas hex & 5 miles for the smaller regional hex. I do want to note that symbols were placed by eyeballing back & forth between the Westernlands map & the hexographer map being created, so they wont be quite exact, but will do for my purposes. I also took liberties and moved Morgansfort down further on the map than what the Westernlands map shows. I also have changed the naming to Morgans Keep for my map and will be using a larger keep map with area, from a map I borrowed from Dyson Logos, posted on his page some time ago.

Moderators, if any issue is caused by the sharing of this map, please feel free to remove the post, thx.

I do have the HXM file, if anyone is interested in taking it and adjusting for their own purposes. Thanks and Game on!

Curious which of Dyson's maps you chose. I, too, use his maps for creating settings.

I am using Dyson's Greater Briar Keep map.

Nice. Keep up the good work. I would love to see a Basic Fantasy sandbox with the various modules all located on one map.

This is awesome. How did it work out? Which modules did you run? Do you have a blog? Or recap
