For the maps in the modules do you guys generally use mapmatic to create the dungeons and town maps. I have a small gaming group I'm putting together and I'm looking to make some of my own maps for a campaign we will be starting soon. Just curious to see what people use to make town maps and such

I've had pretty good results with Mapmatic+1 for dungeon maps. Not sure what anybody uses for towns and such, though.

Here's a link to some free online map programs:

https://dungeonmapdoodler.com/draw/

https://inkarnate.com

I think you have to sign up for Inkarnate, but they definitely have a free version.

I've tried that in recent games I have played. I stumbled across a few free to use webtools that have worked great for generating some dungeon maps and some world maps.

Crayons, to be honest. I'm a 12 year old at heart.
