EDIT: Sorry not sure why I put this in Workshop, it should probably be in General.
So there was a post on reddit today asking about an OSR "Lazy Lord" class. I am new to the concept but apearantly it entails charisma/influence type abilities, or cash/buying power? Anyone know of this archtype and if so could it the quasi-class wizards among us whip up something to fill the niche? I'd be interested in such an option possible.
Lazy Lord quasi-class?

Re: Lazy Lord quasi-class?
A videogame I like has classes that include noble and pauper.
One has moderate starting stats but nice starting equipment.
The other has very good starting stats, but you start with rags and a club.
Normally, a would-be knight would probably start as the equivalent of a squire and become a knight around level 4 or something like that, assuming GM and players are happy to roleplay it that way. For a "lazy lord", the guy would start with full plate armor, a horse, a squire, maybe a full lance worth of men-at-arm. Obviously, the guy would level very slowly since he's sharing his own experience with all his retinue.

Re: Lazy Lord quasi-class?
That would make sense as a disadvantage. Im not sure how to stat this out though. May not be see enough use any how.
Re: Lazy Lord quasi-class?
Nothing special about the stats really.
I had an aristocrat who was basically a mage with a nicer spellbook and started with a magic wand. Just put the highest score in Charisma instead of Int, but still put at least an 9 in Int.
It's the disadvantaged character who gets some stats bonus at generation time.
