Map I'm Working On...

Post by Solomoriah »

This is a map of the most northwesterly part of the nation of Enterone in my world of Glain; it won't be in a published adventure, due to the use of "Frandor's Keep" (yes, THAT one) though I suppose I could rename it. This is the area of our current in-person adventuring. Ostet Zan is in the rival nation of Roslane, and the border is somewhere between Frandor's Keep and Ostet Zan. And Kefrid Delve is a dwarven delve in the Olan Mountains, and thus not part of either of those human nations. The elven kingdom of Olvenil is just to the west.

I've never used GIMP and generally don't know much about photo and editing software. I've been doing maps with CC3+ and lately using Wonderdraft. The latter is very easy to use; sometimes I do the rough outline and add rivers, then import it to CC3 as I like the symbols (especially mountains and trees) better than Wonderdraft.

Of course, your map is much more properly old-school! 8-)
