A Manifesto of Sorts, which is a Plan as well
Re: A Manifesto of Sorts, which is a Plan as well
Hmm interesting findings, Beholder is indeed trademarked, however Rust Monster isn't, Bulette isn't, Owlbear (though it's a computer game trademark primarily) is though, I wasn't really expecting Rust Monster to be, I think it's more the appearance that's a catch with that one, Bulette surprised me though.
No matter where you go...there you are

Maybe it could be useful to update the main page of the website?
The previews of the 4e Core Rules make little sense since the 4e Core Rules have been published already.

I like the idea of custom character classes and races that some of you have come up with. I've recently started running a Basic Fantasy campaign for my friends, and the resources and ideas I've found in this thread have been invaluable.

I let my players play whatever class/race they'd like as long as THEY keep track of spells and special abilities. I can only handle knowing the four main classes and such. One issue that can come up is if you are missing a cleric or wizard. We have a blood sorceror, but some of the mainline wizard spells would REALLY be handy for them.

I can't believe this manifesto was published a year ago. It's crazy to think how much was done in just a year...

Indeed.
So far, we've done everything I set out to do. I am happy with that.

Agreed; the amount of work done by others has been astonishing quite frankly
