Has a call been put out for all contributors on Discord, Facebook, etc.?

I did, when I posted this Manifesto. I suppose a more direct message could be sent.

... so I just did that on the Facebook group. Will mess with the Discord later; I think it less likely we'll find them there, but I'll try.

A half-hour ago. WotC steps back from the "Brink" ?

What an about-face. Still looking for the hidden trap in the verbiage.

Wow. I don't think it will change our plan to move to CC ourselves, but I am impressed seeing the 5.1 SRD already released under it (seriously, copy attached here). The 3.1 SRD is still in OGL 1.0a, and I still don't think we should trust to keep using it, and they could still (try) to invalidate it later on, but this does certainly lend us some time and breathing room, and leaving OGL-licensed material up for now.

Still, they have shown what their true goals are (or were). I shall not be able to trust their intentions moving forward. More than likely, they are just adjusting their methods and time-lines in achieving their true goals.

All just damage control.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Agreed. Trust is gone.

I do like that they put the stuff like owlbear and roper and whatnot in the creative commons, I did NOT expect that move.

3.0 or 3.5 SRD? That was before my return to the tabletop. I can only find the 3.5 version.

I think it’s a big move and a win for the community.

That said, I also think they’re cutting their losses with 5e so they can do whatever they want with 6e. But since the two games are supposed to be compatible, it still gives 3PPs a lot of breathing room.
