Re: CreateSpace and Amazon Distribution
I don't have nearly as much control over how things are arranged on CreateSpace.com or Amazon.com; in fact, basically none. Whereas, with Lulu.com, we have a proper storefront page.
Sometimes you just have to take what you get.

It's already fantastic
I got 3 copies of the game from Germany, and as soon as the adventure get on amazon.it I will grab them (with one more copy to boot, from Italy is postage free )

Re: CreateSpace and Amazon Distribution
Just thought I'd mention, as of right now these are the sales figures for our CreateSpace editions:
Basic Fantasy Role Playing Game Core Rules - 89 copies
Fortress, Tomb, and Tower - 7 copies
Monkey Isle - 4 copies
Morgansfort - 6 copies
The Chaotic Caves - 3 copies
That's since the 13th. No kidding. Over the entire month of February (until today, obviously), four copies of the Core Rules and one copy of Morgansfort were sold on Lulu. Tellingly, only one of the rulebooks from Lulu was perfect bound... two coily copies and one hardback comprised the remainder.

That is just fabulous. I love seeing the game propagate through to new people. The price point is great, and being able to utilize one's Amazon.com account (which nearly everyone already has) looks like it is getting people over the hump of hesitating to jump in with a print edition.Solomoriah wrote:Just thought I'd mention, as of right now these are the sales figures for our CreateSpace editions:

At this point, my idea to donate and sprinkle the game into the local library systems in this region might begin to take shape with actual printed copies instead of my idea to simple print off stapled editions out of my home. Did Amazon create isbn numbers for these? because that would help in getting these officially inserted into library systems... they would be able to look up the books in databases.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Yes, there are ISBN numbers on the CreateSpace editions; you have to have them to get on Amazon.com.
