Here is a sketch I did today exploring a different style. Is this something I should explore?

Not sure what's going on with the eyes, but I really like this! It's great!

I dig this, and concerning the eyes: they look rolled back to me which is a little creepy and "realisitic?" while casting a spell maybe lol as realistic as that could be.

The image has a very late 60's feel to me, almost an album cover.

Her clothing has a very Russ Nicholson vibe to it! I dig it!

I agree Teaman, it reminds me of the art of Rick Griffin, Stanley Mouse, Alton Kelly and Victor Moscoso very psychedelic feel to it.

I have been looking at a lot of Russ Nicholson art lately but I think this piece will start to move towards a Harry Clarke style. I do see the psychedelic and album cover vibes, which was not intended. I saw her dancing at Woodstock after Teaman mentioned it.

Here is a rough sketch of a tusker. I'm trying to get the anatomy down. I usually do about a dozen sketches like this before I get something I like. Here I'm trying to figure out the head and shoulder areas. Let me know your thoughts.

Another rough sketch for possible Field Guide 2 cover. I probably wouldn't use this except for maybe a character in the background. I'm not really keen on the angle. I usually make several individual drawings of characters and monsters, and combine them together by redrawing the illustration as a whole.
