Great stuff, Zoltor!
Diggin' the ornate armor of the second image (Field Guide rough)! And the walrus warrior reminds me of the Thundercats! :D Love it!

Tusker: I would imagine them having more body fat; I like your image, but a little too ripped/shredded for me ;)
Character/FG2 sketch: love the innate action shown; yes it's a little too "focused" for a cover, but as part of a larger piece I think it would work great! And possibly can do a more detailed version of this to use elsewhere, and/or as a class illustration...

Thanks Chiisu. I agree the Tusker needs to have more fat. I look at the anatomy to make sure I'm doing it right before making him a little healthier.

I have done several sketches for characters but would really like some input for possible cover ideas. I think the monsters should be the main feature for a cover. I'm just not sure what that looks like.

Do you have one or more favorite entries in Field Guide 2? If so can feature those battling one or more PCs, either in a dungeon or an outdoor environment.

I would like to say I discovered my scanner settings were set incorrectly to this point, so all of the drawings I have uploaded to this point were not at the highest quality. Every time I would scan something it didn't look right but I just thought it was a matter of the picture looking better in person.

I cannot recall ever using color paper as a mid-tone. So let me know what you think. I don't have a place for this drawing, so if you can find a home for it, great. Just check with Solo first, just in case he has a place for it.

This is wonderful. Nice use of colored paper. It is kind of magical when it works. Sometimes I have trouble getting the whites to pop, especially on the lighter tone paper. And with the darker tone, it can be tricky to get the darks to show.

But wonderful work, sorry to digress.

I knew I had a problem when I tried to scan the drawing and I didn't get the proper contrast. You are right, when it works it looks good. I was just messing around with this drawing trying to figure out if this was something I wanted to try again later. I still think it looks better in person.
