Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Boldol quickly hurls another bullet at the remaining spider but it careens off the wall beside the spider.
Boldol's Attack (Sling): [1d20+5] = 4+5 = 9
As Sanzaru begins dispatching the kobolds, the spider attacks again but is distracted by the bullet whizzing by its head.
Spider's Attack: [1d20] = 3
Pebbles bravely draws his sword and attacks the spider but he trips over a sleeping kobold and falls flat on his face.
Pebbles' Attack (short sword): [1d20+1] = 1+1 = 2
Mumford confidently moves in and swipes at the spider with his staff. It is a valiant attempt but it misses the spider by a hair.
Mumford's Attack (Quarterstaff): [1d20+1] = 10+1 = 11
Round 3
Pebbles Initiative: [1d6+4] = 2+4 = 6
Boldol Initiative: [1d6+4] = 2+4 = 6
Sanzaru Initiative: [1d6+1] = 3+1 = 4
Spider Initiative: [1d6] = 4
Mumford Initiative: [1d6-1] = 1-1 = 0

The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
The spider lunges at Sanzaru again but its jaws snap shut just shy of Sanzaru's arm.
Spider's Attack: [1d20] = 16
Mumford's solid blow strikes home, something snaps, and your foe collapses lifelessly.
Mumford's Attack (Quarterstaff): [1d20+1] = 11+1 = 12
Mumford's Damage (Quarterstaff): [1d4] = 4

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
pebbles (the halfling) curses the damn short ass cretins for getting in his way and attempts to struggle back to his feet

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Sanzaru finishes dispatching the kobolds and looks around while Pebbles regains his feet, cursing a blue streak.
Mumford quickly scans the area for other threats, and finding none, closes the door.
Looking around you see half-eaten food, moldering hay and other trash littering the room. Searching the kobolds bodies you find 65 sp. Searching the rest of the room does not reveal any secret doors or other treasure.
There is another locked door on the south wall.

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
pebbles will listen at the locked door then check it for traps and if he finds none and hears nothing he will attempt to pick the lock
Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
If pebbles fails then sanzaru will attempt to destroy the door with his axe, or just break it enough to open it. Whichevers easier.

Re: Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive
Mumford will keep watch while his companions work on the door.
