If there are pirates at the ruins, we will bring them their leader.

Teruk hoists the pirate mage over his shoulder and heads up toward the ruins.

Jaali agrees : "If there wasn't hope for Yuan-Cheng, I would suggest getting to the ship right now, but we must try to find our friend, he may still be alive."

Rushing things a bit - you approach the ruins and all is quiet. Surrounding the place, you make your way inwards until you find one of the cubes still contains a pirate on guard.

He fires at one of Teruk's men, hitting for 4 hit points, then goes back inside the cube. The wounded man takes cover.

The entire group now knows the location of the cube. You could storm it easily, or try other strategies.

We have your leader! Leave your weapons and come out peacefully and we will allow you to live.

That works.

A single 2nd level fighter, wounded with gunfire, emerges and surrenders.

Yuan-Cheng can be reunited with the party.

It appears that Farhan, a poisoner thief, has fled back to the ship, ordering this man to stay on guard.

Now what?

(PS - I'll take Teruk back now...)

We didn't see the man when on the way to the ruins, or maybe his footsteps in the sand ?

OOC: sorry, busy week. Rostam has is not interested in arguing with the efreet - if he wants to guard the bottle himself, more power to him. Nor is Rostam interested in taking any of Jab-Afris possessions.

Let us rest for a moment and then go back to the ship. Both Ash and Farhan are bound to return there, if they don't get eaten by giant lizards. And we still need to free the other prisoners.

Jaali - the Lerini pirate Ash headed north from the battle site almost straight away. The rangers knew this, but you elected to go to the ruins and so you did not meet his path again.

Once again, I need someone to indicate they have taken items or they are gone.

You may rest up at the ruins. It is now about 4 in the afternoon. All wounded people can be healed by the healing well.

Saracen is looking increasingly bad, as he is tied up and cannot wet himself.

Are you going to move on to the ship? Teruk and his men will join you. At this point I just need mTeasdale, Rhialto and quozl to indicate your intentions and general plan. Everyone else is out of action for the time being.

I think taking back the ship would be the next logical action. Does everybody agrees ?
