Ranald crossed the room and began to listen at the door, which appeared to be twin to the one by which he had just entered.

Tertullian was watching the others with great interest when suddenly he heard a noise, perhaps a bit like shuffling feet, somewhere in the darkness behind him.

Tertullian turns around and backs into the room, padding Neirin on the shoulder urging him to follow.
