BARGUK the HALF-ORC

Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
I'd like to use one reputation point for a great mace. The other I'll save.
Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
No problemo.
You talk to the ogre guards, who now seem to like you. They give you your desired weapon (for this fight). And chain mail.
A gnome enters your cell and talks to you with magical translation.
You are fighting well. Your next fight is...well, it's really more of an assingment. A gnoll has escaped from one of our arenas and has climbed up into the north side of an old complex we don't use much any more. Here's a map. You'll start on the bridge. Just go in to the north side, and get him out. We could do it ourselves but it would be fun to watch the two of you tussle. It would be better if you get him out alive...
Do this for us and we'll see about letting you go.

You are herded onto the bridge by guards. There are no spectators but a magical metal eye is following you and you know people are watching.
The first door (the one you can currently see) on the north side of the pond is wooden and seems to be closed. It is about 40 feet down from the bridge to the pond, and there's bad smelling water in there, you do not know how deep. The bridge is old stone, and crumbling. This place looks disused and in bad shape.
You can take a torch if you want, or rely on your darkvision.

Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
Barguk accepts the chainmail, great mace, and torch and heads across the bridge.. carefully.
Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
Barguk gets to the first door. It is wooden, and closed.
Outside the door, a ledge leads around to the second door. He can't see the second door from here. He'd have to move there.
He observes that this door has not been bashed down, and does not seem to be locked.

Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
Can Barguk hear anything through the door?
Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
Then he'll check the door for traps.

Barguk enters through the door.
Re: BARGUK the HALF-ORC
Done. You are in the first room.
There are two old carved pillars at the north end and a 3' high pile of refuse (rubble, old wood) in the SE corner.
There is also a set of rough hewn stairs going to the north and a tunnel to the NW. Your map tells you these go to the same place.
You hear nothing and see nothing else of interest. Looks like this place was once living areas. It's pretty damp and a lot of the stone work is crumbly.
