OOC: I'll complete the action as stated above.

After acquiring the nugget, Hakki drops the pole and moves to O13.

The cluster of zombies move 4 squares after you to G and H 13 and 14.

The referee announces that you are going to have to kill one for the fight to be over.

"Better to die with gold in your pocket than live as a pauper..."

Grumbling, Hakki moves towards the north wall, hoping to find some shelter behind the pillar (six spaces to O19).

Hakki moves behind the pillar (to R19) and turns to face the zombies, axe and shield at the ready.

My zombie squad move to P and O 18 and 19.

You could move into Q19 and attack from here (either of the P zombies). The zombies in the P file would then get an attack on their turn. The others wouldn't - there's not enough room. That's a pretty good use of the pillar.

Are you up for it?

Hakki jumps forward (to Q19), trying to cleave the zombie in P19 apart with a single stroke of the axe (to-hit roll 12 + 1 = 13, 8 damage if it hits).

He also prays that the zombies are too dumb to move around the pillar to attack him from both directions at once.

You kill the zombie!

The other zombie in the P rank lunges at you and attacks you. It rolls a 15. That's a hit, just. It does 2 hit points.

Another zombie crowds into the remaining space, and attacks at a slight penalty because there is a dead body at its feet. It misses you by 1 ( it rolled a 14.)

The round ends and the whistle blows. The zombies are deactivated.

You get 1 reputation point and 750 exp. That puts you on 1250.

Anything to add before the next fight gets underway?

Your next fight is a cage fight. You are unarmed. You are up against a gnome. He looks like he has been badly beaten up in previous days and isn't in good shape.

This strikes you as a bit odd. Gnomes are normally in charge around here and the arena is run by them. You don't know why you are fighting this one. The guards who led you in here just tell you to give him no mercy.

He's facing up to you at the opposite side of the 10' wide cage. Roll for initiative or attempt to talk to him. Also, roll 1d2 for extra hit points for this fight for the better food.
