BACKGROUND
At 6' 1", Lazrin is a somewhat tall and lanky young adult.
Lazrin was born in the Free City of Slateholm and was once a young privledged child with highly regarded parents who had close ties to Lord Aranst. Early on in his childhood, well schooled and tutored by a wise Elven magician named Wilam, who was a very close confidant and advisor to Lord Aranst. Wilham tutored him in the "Ways of Magic". Lazrin studied hard to learn his first 1st level spell. He quickly learned a few rudimentary cantrip spells but could not gain the capability of learning a 1st level spell, hence the nick name "Zero" a novice magician, chosen by his peers. Life changed for Lazrin after a scandalous rumor charged by Lord Aranst against his father, Lazrin and his parents were both exiled to a small unnamed island off the southern coast of Ravenstone. While on the island Lazrin finally was succsessful in learning his first spell. After witnessing this his father who had enough hidden gold left, and was able to negotiate a deal with a local gang of pirate bandits. He paid for a chartered trip on small galley to return Lazrin back to a somewhat civilized life again and allow him to pursue his research in Arcane Magic. So be it, while on the voyage to Ravenstone, Lazrin befriended a working sailor who told him about the local government office hiring individuals known as the "irregulars" for gold and adventure, which would help him financially. In order to pursue his magic knowledge Lazrin decided he might be interested in a change in life which might allow him gain experience and wealth, to support his goal of becoming a Guild member and getting access to the Guilds library and advance to higher path.


PASSIONS
To seek further knowledge in magic, by research and reading.
