Thanks for the advice folks (and the comedy from my players). In looking at it more closely I'll stick with what Solo has done with his dragons. This is his set of rules after all.

Rykken- 24/24 Hp AC 20
Hermia- 39/39 Hp AC 18/20
Giovanni-40/40 Hp AC 22

I always recommend playing the game "vanilla" to start with. Later, after you have a solid feel for it, there will be time to mess around with the game.

I just want to say that I agree wholeheartedly with Solo's view on magic resistance. It is not a good mechanic at all IMO.
Magic Items... Sold Dirt Cheap!

My job is to archive all of Hyway's awesome parodies. ;)
