Announcing!
Basic Fantasy Equipment Emporium, Release 17 -- June 19, 2019
This release includes revisions by Chris Gonnerman and three new art pieces by Jeff Wrbelis. It's not a print candidate yet, as most of the text still needs a review, but it's getting closer.

I noticed you didn't use the illustration I made of the halfling lifting a sword (Weaponsize_by_john_ciarfuglia...). If you don't need it for EE, feel free to use it for another module/manual.

No, I definitely could use it... but I don't find it in my archive... ack. It's still in my Inbox. I'll get it into the book in the next release... thanks for the reminder!

Re: Equipment Emporium Supplement
IMO polearms need their reach trait but I understand why they are similar to other L weapons but with brace feature. You give it reach and there is no reason to take any other weapon.
Then I watched a video on medieval weapons combat and it was eye opening. They had combatants trying all the various medieval weapons and found that reach weapons were just better. It was very hard for a combatant to get attacks in when the opponent was wielding a reach weapon and poking at them as they feinted attacks. You could visually see the reach weapon wielders were in defensive mode while attackers where in offensive mode.Even with the two handed weapons like the great swords.
EDIT....dont take "being in defensive mode" as bad here as they looked like they were the combatant that was controlling the fight.
My idea is to reduce damage from 1D10 to 1D8 and give them a +1 to AC.So in open field combat and they are pretty much a one handed M weapon with buckler but in tight dungeon corridors they can shine a bit by getting attacks in when movement to get close to enemy is blocked.
EDIT 2.....maybe even give them an attack bonus +1 as they visually were able to defend and also attack easier.

THERE'S JUST ONE PROBLEM... no cover art. Yeah, we need a cover for this book. Anyone interested?
