Looking for a map

Post by deadPan c »

I'm setting up a hexcrawl, and am looking for a map to "borrow". I've been searching for a while but haven't found something that could work.

Ideally, the map would be a generic fantasy region. Western coastline with a forest, tundra, and a desert or a swamp, with no locations noted.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Any pronouns

This is excellent, thanks! I've ultimately decided to draw a map myself, but this would be a great backup incase something goes wrong or I'm unable to use my drawn map

I am not sure if you can access HumbleBundle.com in the UK but they are a site that sells software/ebook bundles for charity. At the moment they have a bundle featuring mapmaking software which might be helpful if you are creating your own maps…

I've been looking at it a while and its never been down. It takes awhile because any time you go there it generates a brand new map. But the nice thing is you really only need it once.. You can download it and use the pages locally or do what I tried, found a free webhosting site and uploaded it. http://oshadar.infinityfreeapp.com/

I've been using it for a month or so, and I find it's completely down (ie not even replying to dns requests) for about 4 days (though only for a couple of hours a day)

Yeah that's why I grabbed the html files and self-hosted it, even though I wound up just going back to The Pit discord and using that instead.

I've gotten a lot of use out of Perilous Shores by watabou. It doesn't create the NPCs and world lore, but it can produce some amazing maps.
I'm also on RPGG
