Room 13 - Mirror, Mirror

This room can be accessed via a stuck wooden door coming up from the south.

***Boxed Text***
The room is largely empty, save for a large mirror hung on the western wall. Someone has written "Upon the Night of Reflections, when the light comes to lifeless eyes, secrets shall be revealed" on the east wall in charcoal.
***End Boxed Text***

The mirror is magical, and will answer simple yes/no questions about the dungeon (current level). The mirror will answer a total of 5 questions before falling silent. The mirror cannot be removed from the wall without being destroyed.

Room 14 - Look Away! Look Away!

This room is accessed via a wooden door from the southern hallway. Read or paraphrase the following when the party arrives at the entrance to the room proper.

***Boxed Text***
This room is filled with an otherworldly moaning, like hundreds of far-off souls in torment. There is a mural on the northern wall, just visible in your light.
***End Boxed Text***

When the party enters the room, they are attacked by two Ironbane (the creatures cannot be surprised).

The mural on the north wall depicts the gruesome death of whoever looks at it. Each PC will see themselves being horribly killed in a different scene. Roll on the table below, or choose a scene for each person who looks upon the mural.

Mural scenes - roll 1d8 for each person who gazes upon the mural

1 - Gored to death by unicorns
2 - Stomped to death by mountain giants
3 - Ripped apart by pixies
4 - Bitten in half by a dragon turtle
5 - Pounced to death by deceivers
6 - Tortured to death by bugbears
7 - Bitten to death by rabid barklings
8 - Frozen to death by an ice dragon

Close inspection of the southern wall reveals a loose stone in the wall. Hidden behind the stone is a small sack containing 2 gems (1 amber worth 100gp, 1 garnet worth 500gp).

2 Ironbane: AC 15, HD 3*, #At 1 touch, Dam special, Mv 50', Sv F4, Ml 8, XP 175 ea.

Room 16 - Dust and Bones

**Boxed Text**
The door looks crumbly and rotten, small white grubs move through it causing trickles of dust to fall gently to the floor, it looks as though it could literally fall apart as you gaze upon it.
**End Boxed Text**

The grubs are those of a harmless wood-boring parasite and present no harm to anything not made of wood or paper. If the door is broken down (no roll required) anyone passing though has a cumulative ten percent chance per time to attract 2d6 of these grubs. They will move around the bearer seeking out cellulose to feast upon. For every turn that the grubs are upon a character roll a d20 and add the number of grubs being carried to the result. If the total is 15 or greater then the grubs have infested an item from the characters inventory (it is for the referee to determine which item). Non magical items are rendered useless as soon as they are infested, magical items (including scrolls) should be permitted a saving throw vs magic wands with any items bonuses added to the dice roll.

The grubs will feast on an item for 2d6 hours and then seek out another.

Of course, the destruction of the item will very likely only be realised when the character comes to use it.

Any grubs discovered upon a character can be easily removed and destroyed by normal means.

Within the room are the skeletons of two small humanoids, possibly dwarves, lying on the floor face up. They are holding hands and have no equipment. The room is otherwise empty.

Room 19 - A place of slumber

** Boxed Text**
There is no door, merely a line of fine sawdust upon the floor. There are signs of passage through the dust, although whatever passed through bore no weight as the dust is barely disturbed.
* *End Boxed Text**

The door was devoured long ago by the same type of grub present in Room 16. The signs of disturbance are from the small creatures which reside in the catacombs.

* *Boxed Text**
Within, the room has an irregular flagstone tile floor. Four sets of circles are crudely daubed on the floor, each circle inscribes a different shape; triangle, square, four-pointed star and a six-pointed star. They look very old.
The ceiling is vaulted like a chapel and glitters with a dim light. Close inspection reveals that the light comes from the shiny carapaces of thousands of beetles that cover the ceiling in its entirety.
* * End Boxed Text**

The beetles are in a state of hibernation and present no threat.

Updated Master Post.

We are still missing an entry for room 18 and lars_alexander still needs to finish rooms 8 and 12.

Room 18 - Bonded by Blood

**Boxed Text**
The door is made of steel, it has a demons face crudely painted on the outside of the door in a dark red paint.
* * End Boxed Text**

The door can be opened as normal. Although the demonic face is ominous, it has no significance.

* *Boxed Text**
This room has a black granite tile floor adorned with crudely daubed pictures of undead battling dwarves and gnomes. From the ceiling hang four chains of varying lengths with hooks at the ends. Under each hook is a bowl of dried blood.
**End Boxed Text**

If the bowls are filled with any liquid a raucous laugh will echo forth from the throats of four ghostly Dwarven warriors. Each hangs from a hook and their blood pours into the bowls. In the centre of the room an apparition of a giant two handed hammer floats in the air.
The dwarves cannot be communicated with, they are vestiges trapped in the spirit world. The weapon is Hellhammer , which can be found elsewhere in the catacombs.

Updated Master Post.

Once lars finishes his rooms, we'll be done with May.

I want to take a moment to thank and congratulate Rik Pease who is the top contributor for the month of May and the reason we were able to finish on time! A big round of applause for him! :)
