Hi all, I'm Christian from Italy, not really new (been lurking the forum for a while, and posting every now and then in the facebook group) but here I am.
I play BF with some friends, with my kids and sometimes with my nephews too. Always on the DM side. So much love for this game and for the old way to play. I chose BF upon other systems for the nice editorial line, the price and the whole community-fueled idea behind it.
Ciao!

Re: New User Introductions
good day everyone.
well here goes...
i came across BFRPG when looking to play some classic 2nd ed D&D. it was increasingly hard to find a group to play with.
i continued to play some star wars RPG until about 5 years ago.
since then, there has been little to no gaming, even though i retired with the army.
im actually looking for a group that plays semi regular online, albeit, im not terribly savvy on all the new tech to use for that, but not an idiot either.
plyed all sorts of RPGs in my time, alot of battletech, used to even manage a GW store before i deployed.
thanks all

Re: New User Introductions
Hello all, I started my RPG experience in 1980, with the Moldvay Basic set, and by Christmas I also had the Expert Box set. Over the years I have played/DM many different games, but have always returned to the Basics for nostalgia.
I like to read and collect OSR systems. I've always know of Basic Fantasy since the early days of OSR, but never actually played it, not sure why. On a vacation a couple of years ago, I was in a small town in Alabama and went into a game store. They had the usual, But I also had seen several Basic Fantasy books on their shelves, Rules, modules, field guides, and adventures. I grabbed all of them. They were 3rd edition.
So, recently, I was going through my shelves and brought everything out for another look. So now, I'm getting all the downloads I can find.

Re: New User Introductions
Hi, Daniel from Sweden here! Just wanted to introduce myself; I have been playing roleplaying games on and off since about 2002. I discovered Basic Fantasy around September-ish of last year and I have since then bought every printed book I could get my hands on! I am now on a quest to introduce this game to as many of my friends as possible!
