some french translations

Post by gg2 »

edit : you can find "complete translations" in the showcase, follow the link...

Hello, here are some translations in French. For Morgansfort and basic field there are no images (too heavy), which makes the layout "confusing".
And it's only ODT
As it's something I do like that, I didn't translate the cover pages with the presentations and thanks, sorry if there are any problems with the rights
I hope there's not too many mistakes.
I read English better than I write it. I don't know if I'd do more, but well, I share, at worst it might be useful to other people who would like to finish the job.
it's very personal and I've only translated things that interest me, regardless of any other consideration
the zip contains: :
BB1 - Morgansfort
Basic Field Guide
Druid r5-supplement
Scout r4 - supplement
Barbarians r3
half-human r3
rangers and paladin r3
monster as player caracters r4
saving throw options r6
spellcrafter r3
libram magica
combat option r6
specialty priest r1
necromancer r4
bardic characters r2
illusionist r4
secondary skills r1
new spells r6
new race r2
magic user options r4

new : BF2 Fortress, Tomb, and Tower r21
new : JN2 Monkey Isle r18

new : BF BeginnerEssentials-r12.

and thank you to the community for the work

edit : and for the libram, in time there was a lack of spells compared to the original supplements (or modifications), I report the modifications in the document

That is an awesome work gg2, It would deserve a dedicated Showcase entry to store all this material.
I do not have time at this moment to work on the BF stuff, but I will have a deeper look at your files to provide some feedback once my job will let me some rest.
Congrat again!
[edit] Morgansfort would definitely need to be posted in showcase, as it would definitely enable anyone to start BF in french in better conditions with a scenario! Do you plan to align this version with the US one (including picture etc...) ?

in fact, for Morgansfort, the version I have planned is with the images partly in French (so there are still 3 things left) and an approximate layout..... then when I posted it I realized that it was a file much too big for the forum. Hence, zou, quickly, I removed the images to have a downloadable version.
Same for the bestiary, deletion of images at the last moment.

Merci pour le retour :)

Thank you very much, I'll refine it a little more and put it online. :)

Hi gg2, I've added the showcase link to your first post. Due to the many different number of documents, the link is to your author page, so everything should be listed there.

So now if you make any changes/updates, you can just update the documents on the showcase page(s), and then make a post here stating what's changed, while that link in your first post will always remain the same.
