Play-by-post still available?

Post by TPFox »

Are the forums still hosting play-by-post games? I'm too old fashioned for other formats... I don't have a game going yet, but if I did, where would it go?

Make a post about the game you want to run, the more info the better.
Once enough people joins to play, talk with Solo and he'll create the chat/play threads.

That's interesting. I'd always seen the title "Inactive Play by Post" and assumed that PbP was all inactive on this site. I do all my PbP/PbF on RPGG anyway.

I should have said that I saw the inactive threads, but no active ones.

Because there are no active games right now. PbP games seem to have short lives. You can start one if you want, as explained, and if you get an adequate response I'll spin up a subforum for you.

Yeah I've left so much heartbreak in those PbP games when they died. The Undermountain one hurt because it went quite awhile before it died and I was really getting into it..

I'm in a PbF game at RPGG that's been running for over a year with multiple daily posts, but I'll admit that's very rare. Most of the other games seem to fade much sooner.

Thank you Solo.

Yes, Jugglindan, I've been in a Hideouts and Hoodlums PbP for several months now. On the Odd74 boards, when one ended recently, the same crew of players started another!
